1ο ΓΥΜΝΑΣΙΟ ΚΩ - "ΙΠΠΟΚΡΑΤΕΙΟ"

Στα τέλη Οκτωβρίου το σχολείο μας συμμετείχε σε πρόγραμμα κινητικότητας ERASMUSστην Ισπανία. Το πρόγραμμα αυτό είχε οργανωθεί από τους συναδέλφους του ισπανικού σχολείου, Colegio Concertado Biling?e Leonardo Da Vinci και συμμετείχαν, εκτός από τη δική μας αποστολή, δύο συναδέλφισσες και οι μαθητές/μαθήτριες τους απ? την Καλάβρια της Ιταλίας.

Βασικό θέμα και προβληματική του προγράμματος ήταν το φαινόμενο της ενδοσχολικής βίας, οι μορφές του και η αντιμετώπιση του μέσα στο σχολικό περιβάλλον και περιλάμβανε δραστηριότητες ενσωματωμένες στο ωρολόγιο πρόγραμμα και προσαρμοσμένες στα διαφορετικά γνωστικά αντικείμενα κάθε διδακτικής ώρες.

Μετά την αρχική συνάντηση στο προαύλιο του σχολείου, όπου η διευθύντρια μας καλωσόρισε με μια θερμή ομιλία στα αγγλικά και στα ισπανικά, ακολούθησε μια ουσιαστική γνωριμία με τις υπόλοιπες αποστολές την οποία εμπλούτισαν οι μαθητές μαθήτριες με την προβολή των σχολείων τους μέσα από μικρά βίντεο και παρουσιάσεις. Ακόμη, συζητήθηκε και το θέμα του bullying με αφορμή τα πολύ ενδιαφέροντα πορίσματα έρευνας που παρουσίασε το σχολείο μας (επισυνάπτεται στο παρόν έγγραφο).

Τις υπόλοιπες ημέρες πραγματοποιήθηκαν δραστηριότητες με την ενεργό συμμετοχή όλων των μαθητικών ομάδων στο πλαίσιο του σχολικού προγράμματος. Από όλες τις ενδιαφέρουσες δράσεις ξεχώρισαν το μάθημα της μουσικής, όπου τα παιδιά έπαιξαν το παραδοσιακό κρουστό καχόν και το μάθημα των εικαστικών. Τα παιδιά με μπογιές και πινέλα σχημάτισαν στο προαύλιο του σχολείου σπειροειδείς σχηματισμούς με λέξεις, όπως σεβασμός, ασφάλεια, αγάπη φιλία, ενσυναίσθηση και οριοθέτησαν με αυτόν τον τρόπο χώρους που θα λειτουργούσαν σαν άσυλο για τα θύματα της ενδοσχολικής βίας.

Ιδιαίτερη αναφορά πρέπει να γίνει για την ημέρα της εκδρομής στην Calblanque μια παραλία της περιοχής. Στην εκδρομή αυτή συμμετείχαν, εκτός από τις ομάδες του ERASMUS, όλοι οι μαθητές και οι μαθήτριες του σχολείου. Η διαδρομή, που έγινε με τα πόδια και διήρκεσε περίπου μιάμιση ώρα, ήταν καταπληκτική. Περάσαμε μέσα από χαρακτηριστικούς τόπους της περιοχής και έτσι μας δόθηκε η ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουμε καλύτερα το φιλόξενο μέρος του LosBelones. Μόλις φτάσαμε εκεί τα απιδιά έπαιξαν ομαδικά παιχνίδια, ελληνικά και ισπανικά, χαλάρωσαν, γνωρίστηκαν καλύτερα και δέθηκαν με τους αλλοεθνείς συνομηλίκους τους

Η τελευταία μέρα της παραμονής μας στο σχολείο ήταν εξίσου εποικοδομητική. Αφού έγινε μια συνάντηση για ανατροφοδότηση και ανταλλαγή εμπειριών από τις προηγούμενες μέρες, ακολούθησε ένα παιχνίδι escaperoom, όπου τα παιδιά ανέλαβαν ρόλους θυμάτων bullyingκαι ο στόχος τους ήταν να «αποδράσουν» από τις κακοποιητικές συμπεριφορές. Αυτή η δύσκολή δοκιμασία εντυπώθηκε στη συνείδηση των παιδιών, τα έκανε πιο ώριμα πιο έτοιμα να αντιμετωπίσουν την αδικία και τη βία μέσα στα σχολεία. Η εβδομάδα τελείωσε με ένα πάρτι στο προαύλιο του σχολείου με μουσικές, χορό, φαγητό και αναψυκτικά.

Η εμπειρία μας από τη συνεργασία με τα ξένα σχολεία μας έδωσε πολλά. Αποκομίσαμε οφέλη που αφορούν όχι μόνο στην γνώση άλλων πολιτισμών και τρόπων ζωής αλλά και στην ανάπτυξη στρατηγικών αποτελεσματικής δράσης ενάντια στον σχολικό εκφοβισμό. Δεν αρκεστήκαμε στη θεωρητική ανάλυση του φαινομένου, δεν παρακολουθήσαμε παθητικά σκηνοθετημένα περιστατικά εκφοβισμού, δεν εξαντλήθήκαμε να αναζητούμε τις αιτίες. Αντίθετα αφιερώσαμε τον χρόνο μας στην εξεύρεση διεξόδων, πρακτικών εξομάλυνσης και εξάλειψης του φαινομένου της σχολικής βίας.

ΑΚΟΛΟΥΘΕΙ ΦΩΤΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ ΑΛΜΠΟΥΜ

At the end of October our school participated in an ERASMUS mobility programme in Spain, which had been organized by spanish teachers of Colegio Concertado Biling?e Leonardo Da Vinci, Los Belones, Murcia Spain with the participation of an italian team of both teachers and students from Calabria.

   Our trip focused on fostering collaboration among schools from three culturally rich and diverse countries: Greece, Spain, and Italy. The primary goal of this initiative was to address critical issues such as bullying and racism, and to promote the essential value of respect in our educational systems.



Bullying was the central issue of the discussion focusing on types of bullying, prevention and resolution within school grounds. The programme also included activities incorporated into the school schedule and adopted to different school subjects.

The initial morning assembly, where the headmistress welcomed us with a warm speech both in english and spanish, was followed by a meaningful contact with all members involved in the mobility which was reinforced by short videos and presentations of the different schools. Special attention was given to outcomes of a school survey concerning bullying that was conducted in our school.

The following days all students involved themselves in activities incorporated in the school programme. In music class students got acquainted with spanish folk music and instruments. In art they created a word snail on the schoolyard ground with words such as respect, safety, love, friendship, empathy and in this manner they created a safe space for bullying victims.

Special mention should be made to the excursion to Calblanque beach. Everyone participated in this excursion which involved an hour and a half long walk through the beautiful landscape of Los Belones. On arrival students played multicultural group games, relaxed, got to know each other better and bonded.

On the last day we had a meeting to discuss the whole experience, give and receive feedback. Our Spanish colleagues had organized a very interesting activity, named ?escape room? where student had to be assisted in ?finding their own way out? of offensive behaviour. In this way students became more aware and mature, more prepared to deal with injustice and violence in school. A school party came last on the programme with food and drinks, dance and lots of fun.



The whole experience was very rewarding. We gained a lot, not only knowledge of different cultures and ways of life, but also development of anti-bullying strategies.   Over the course of our trip, we engaged in productive discussions, workshops, and exchanges of best practices aimed at creating a more inclusive and respectful school environment. The exchange of ideas, experiences, and perspectives among educators from these three nations was truly inspiring. Our approach did not focus on theoretical analysis and viewing of bullying incidents. Mainly we understood better how to construct strategies to battle and minimize school bullying.





     Our commitment to combat bullying and racism is unwavering, and we firmly believe that education is a powerful tool for fostering respect, tolerance, and empathy among students. Through this collaboration, we have taken significant steps towards promoting a culture of inclusivity, where all students can thrive and learn without fear of discrimination.



     The journey has just begun, and we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. By working together across borders, we can make a lasting impact in the fight against bullying and racism, ensuring that the next generation grows up in a world that values diversity and embraces respect as a cornerstone of their education.



   We look forward to continuing this collaborative effort and encourage all educational institutions to join us in our mission to create a more inclusive and respectful society.
